LIBRARY RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR STUDENTS
Use of facilities
1. Before entering the library everyone must:
a.. Leave at the deposit counter one’s belongings, except valuables. Bring with you enough writing materials.
b.. Do not leave valuables at deposit counter; lost valuables will not be the responsibility of the librarian or the clerk.
c. Tap your ID’s at the tap card for your attendance sheet.
2. Silence must be maintained at all times. The reading area is for individual study only.
3. Library users have free access to the books on the open shelves.
4. Just leave the uncharged books after used.

Loans
1..Borrowers are required to present their Borrowers Card in order to borrow library materials. No material maybe
borrowed or returned without borrower’s card.
2. One general circulation book at a time maybe borrowed for overnight use.
This can be re-borrowed after one day to give other’s a chance
to use/read them.
3.General reference books, books in set (e.g. encyclopedia)
pamphlets, newspapers, magazines and other periodical
materials are not subject to borrowing for use outside the library.
4. Filipiniana books can be taken out for overnight use only.
5. Lending privileges are non-transferable. Borrower’s Card holder is prohibited from
lending his/her card to another. Students who failed to
observe this provision is subject
to suspension of library privileges for one month for their first offense and two each time for
subsequent offenses.
6. Library users must examine the borrowed book /s or reading material /s for damage before
leaving the library.
7. Library loans are suspended one (1) week before the final examination.

- Eating and sleeping inside the library
- Bringing any library property out of the library without having been checked or recorded at the counter. The officer of student affairs shall handle sanctions for this offense, which constitute a ground for suspension or dismissal from school;
- Defacing, tearing, damaging or mutilating any library materials
- Making of class projects such as newspaper and magazine clippings, artworks, etc.2.Withdrawal of all library privileges shall be applied to library users who repeatedly violate this rule and regulations.
Customer conduct inside the library
- Proper conduct is expected of customers at all times. Any staff on duty has the authority to send out any one causing any disturbance inside.
- Cell phones should be turned off inside the library.
- Seats are not be reserved or disarranged.
- Public services shall cease 10 minutes before the indicated closing time to enable the staff members to put the library in order for the next day’s work.
